Quarter Pouch Friends

So last night, my good friends, Megan and Candice, came over to make some Quarter Pouches. They got to experience a little taste of why things take so long with a toddler but we finally got them finished and they turned out super cute!

I love seeing what other people put together. Both Candice and Megan picked fabrics and combinations that I would never have thought of and they ended up looking so great.

Megan's is the multi-colored one, Candice owns the teal scallops and I made the yellow seersucker for our good friend, Dani.

I embroidered a little swirly line on mine to hide the fact that I totally put the button on off-center and seriously debated the idea of never telling Dani that I intended that Quarter Pouch to be for her while selfishly keeping it for myself.

But I decided I should save being selfish for another day.

Abilene was all over the place last night and the girls got a little taste of what it's like to have a toddler in the house... with half a bag of Cherrios all. over. the. kitchen. floor.

(insert picture I should have taken here)

It was a good night though and all future trips to Aldi will be that much easier now that the girls don't have the burden of remembering a quarter before they go. Because, let's be honest, it really is such a heavy burden to bear.

Glad I can help.

  1. So so great! I even want to make more for other people :) Maybe we can convince Brad to watch Abi while you come to our house? :D

    1. Wanting to make more for other people? Totally! Convincing Brad to watch Abilene while I come to your house? Debatable.

Seriously though, I've gotten much faster as I've made more. We could probably pump a bunch out given the time and baby-freedom.
