Junque-a-rama

Can I just say that yesterday was awesome?

Yesterday was awesome.

Mid-60's and clear blue skies in the Adirondacks. Heaven.

That and Junque-a-rama.

Junque-a-rama?

You had me at "-que". Anything that you can make end in "-que" is bound to be awesome, right?

Well, not really. It was pretty much a glorified yard sale at a much smaller than "a-rama" size. "A-rama" does mean big, right? I mean, I thought that's what it meant.

But despite my "-que-a-rama" disappointments, it was still fun to be out in the town with Abilene on such a beautiful Saturday. And I did walk away with a few fun things.

Like this white bowl for $0.50.

Fruit sold separately.

It's the perfect size for our make-shift dresser turned kitchen island that I told you about in this post.

I also picked up this candle stick for $2.

I really liked the shape and (even though I've given you absolutely no point of reference) it's actually pretty big. I'm thinking it might get a makeover whenever we move into a home.

Lastly, I picked up this little beauty for a hefty $0.10.

I love the look of hanging plates and had some on the wall in our PA kitchen. There are also some great ideas floating around on Pinterest like this one:

The plate has a ton of great colors that will probably go with anything we decide to decorate with in our future home. So hard being patient sometimes. Hopefully you'll see all these fun little finds in a future post when I'm showing you where the hubs and I will permanently be living.

After Abilene and I spent all of 10 minutes at the Junque-a-rama, we took a little trip to Lake Placid and went for a walk with some fantastic women in the afternoon. The hubs and I then went on another walk after dinner. Yeah, it was that nice.

I embarrassed to say that, after the two walks (yep, just walking) I'm ridiculously sore... in more places of my body than I care to admit. Being pregnant the second time around has been so different! This time last pregnancy I was running for half and hour and biking for 45 minutes every other day. Here's to good intentions, right?

Today's weather should be similar to yesterdays: mid-60's. I'd do a little gig for joy but I'm seriously too sore for that. It should be 95 degrees in Austin, TX today (where my brother and his beautiful wife live). Enjoy that heat brotha, I don't know how you do it.
