Little Andrew's here!
Welp, it's been a little while since I posted. Don't worry, we didn't fall off the face of the earth or anything, we just went and done had a baby.
Little Andrew Bradley was born on Wednesday, June 27th at 6:26am.
He weighed in at 7lbs. 10oz. and was 21in. long.
...oh, and he has red hair.
Nope, we weren't expecting that either! Not gonna lie, it took me 24 hours to get used to it but now I just can't imagine the little booger with anything else on his head.
At first we were really impressed with how Abilene was adjusting to sharing her parents...
But then she told us what she really thought about it.
My mom came up the week before I was due and was able to be there through the whole delivery. She's pretty much the best help ever.
My dad surprised us by driving all the way up from GA and picking up my Papu (that's "grandfather" in Greek) on the way. He was literally at our apartment for four hours before returning South!
We stopped to get ice cream at Donnelly's before they left. It would be a sin for my dad to come up and leave without some.
Brad's parents are up right now and then my mom will be back when Brad takes kids from Saranac Lake to Young Life camp.
We are so blessed.
So far, Andrew has been the poster child for "The Happiest Baby on the Block." Just swaddle and shush him and he's completely content.
Sleeping like a textbook too. Get's up every two hours to eat and then right back to sleep.
We tried to get him to tell Abilene his sleep secret but his lips haven't budged.
Brad's been such an awesome dad, basically manning Abilene at night while I man Andrew. We're a pretty good team so far with this whole "family of four" thing.
Our friends here have been amazing as well. We've been spoiled with super tasty meals including some amazing desserts - thin mint puppy chow, a s'mores bake, and strawberry pie... all homemade.
I knew those ladies were out to sabotage my post-baby weight loss from the beginning.
Thankfully, God allowed breastfeeding to both nourish our little man with exactly everything he needs and burn mad Mommy calories. Our Lord is so merciful.
Being a new Mommy of "two under two," we're taking life one day at a time. Right now, we're just spending a lot of time making sure Abilene and little Andrew get all the love they need.
And that means life is good.

Abilene was getting ice cream from like 5 different people. And we wonder why she doesn't sleep. |
